Good friends are gifts from God. Ask David and Jonathan. It is a good thing to have someone going somewhere same time as you, it is a wonderful thing to have somewhere you both are going somewhere and the same place at the same time and it is great to have people who don't necessarily have to go your way, but can connect, help and add value when you meet them. If friendship becomes a burden instead of a mutual benefit, then its high time for a rethink, discussion and adjustment in the relationship or a personal crosscheck of lifestyle.  One mustn't weaken the other rather they are to help each other to grow. It must be founded on and in Love. Love is a person with a personality - God and not just a feeling.  The expression of God to man, man in Christ and man to other men is Love. The fact that you like the person isn't enough for a solid friendship.
