Belief is REALITY

A man is made up of different things and whatever he is, is a product of what he thinks on in his heart. There are so many ways that lead to different destinations. We follow the way we think or believe is right and that's how we begin to form our belief systems. A belief system is an organized thought pattern that a person has repeated and proven to be true to him thereby forming his realities on it.

The things we believe in is what we see as our truth. When a person chooses a path and pattern of life, he believes every other person should do the same, because his belief has become his reality. Until there is another conviction greater what he thinks is the best, he won't let go and will constantly cause arguments or conflict with anyone who wants to impose their pattern on him.

But when a man chooses the way of Love in Christ Jesus, he has the truth and Life all wrapped together. That doesn't change the fact that he'll also face some people's drama who wants him to follow other ways, but if he's convinced that no heights, depths, money, food, people, life - nothing, can take him away from the way he has chosen, then his belief has become a true situation that exists (his reality).

I believe Abraham faced a lot of abuse from his people when he left his father's house (the thinking pattern he's accustomed to) to follow God's word in Faith and Hope. Who he believed became His reality and that we as can see today and even be connected to the blessings of his obedience.

Now, what about you? What has formed your belief system? Is it the Truth of God's Word or the lies of the world? Are you persuaded in whom you have believed? How firm do you stand on his Word and how long will you walk in Him - the Way, Truth and Life? Is Jesus your reality or the things of this world that will perish?

I encourage you, my brethren, there is no other way that we can be saved or have anything worthy and glorious than being in Christ. You may be in a wilderness, but He'll surely make a way for you. Don't listen to what people may say, it's a way of discouraging you from seeing your realities materialize.

Jesus is always with you. Don't be tired or give up, He will strengthen you, just wait on Him and hold on to His Word. You will see Him come through for you, just let Jesus be your reality. SHALOM!

You Are Mary

The first Mary was not the only lady named MARY which was recorded in the Bible is found in the new testament. She was "a virgin", which means she wasn't the only one who was a virgin in her time, but she found favor with God and was chosen to bear the Holy seed of God. Mary, the highly favored, blessed among women and the Lord was with her. That was how she was seen by the Lord. Her assignment was to carry the seed of God, deliver a son, and He shall save His people, rule them and His kingdom is forever. Her question wasn't what's in it for me? It was HOW? What's the plan? The answer was the Holy Spirit will come upon you, the power of the Highest hover over you. Therefore, the child you bring to birth will be called Holy, Son of God. It's all planned by God, yours is to align. You are Mary, but whose seed are you carrying? Definitely not Christ Jesus. But what result will the seed you are carrying bring? Are you aligned to be chosen? Are you recept...

Wrap Ups

Endings are better than beginnings. Sticking to it is better than standing out ( Ecclesiastes 7:8; MSG). The end justifies the means and starting could be great, but there is nothing as fulfilling and satisfying as the wrapping up of a thing with strength and grace. It is better not to start anything at all than to give up halfway. If we must start a thing, then we must follow through to the end. It builds discipline, consistency, and focus. When a person sets out for a journey, the thing expected on the way can only be assumed but not accurate. Which makes the destination and finishing well a necessity for greatness and forging further. This year has been amazing and some many things were unexpected, but regardless of the emotions experienced, God is good! When we thought it was over and there was no way we will make it, He showed and made a way. The most important thing when we are wrapping up anything is Thanksgiving. It could have only been God. If only we c...

God's or Abraham's?

The moment the word "children" appears, what comes to mind most the time is the result or outcome of a process. Especially when the psalmist was describing children in Psalms 127:3-5. My eyes were open to seeing results as children. Definitely, children have fathers. Let not go into defining children ( you can always read my post on CHILDREN), But my concern is that sometimes we (Christians) are referred to as Abraham's offspring and at the same time, we are called the children of God. How are we children of God and also Abraham's? It is possible that we are the offspring of both God and Abraham (His friend). We are considered as Abraham's offspring when we believe (Galatians 3:6-8), because the first to exercise Faith in God was Abraham and we are called his children because we are doing exactly what he did which was counted to him as righteousness(John 8:39) - FAITH . So we (believers) are the re-produced version(children) of the Father of Faith - Abraham...
