   The moment the word "children" appears, what comes to mind most the time is the result or outcome of a process. Especially when the psalmist was describing children in Psalms 127:3-5. My eyes were open to seeing results as children. Definitely, children have fathers. Let not go into defining children ( you can always read my post on CHILDREN), But my concern is that sometimes we (Christians) are referred to as Abraham's offspring and at the same time, we are called the children of God. How are we children of God and also Abraham's? It is possible that we are the offspring of both God and Abraham (His friend). We are considered as Abraham's offspring when we believe (Galatians 3:6-8), because the first to exercise Faith in God was Abraham and we are called his children because we are doing exactly what he did which was counted to him as righteousness(John 8:39) - FAITH . So we (believers) are the re-produced version(children) of the Father of Faith - Abraham...

   A legacy is defined as something that happens in the past or comes from someone in the past. Something that can also be called an inheritance or birthright that has become a generational one. It could be a property, money, disease, or a specific way of life. Just like legacy has been defined above, it can be passed down. The passing down of those things to the people of the next generation of the same bloodline or family. The people who are in someone's family in past times are called lineage . The legacy of "our" lineage means there is a group of people involved in this kind of bloodline. And we are talking about nobody but the Abrahamic lineage . This is a special kind of lineage( a chosen generation, a peculiar people that became a holy nation) that has been set apart from the foundation of the world to show forth the praises of Him that always call things and people out of darkness into His marvelous light.
