Beyond You

You exist in this world for a reason. There is an impact you must make on earth. It wasn't a mistake you came in this time, you could have been put here before or after now. Why now? It's because you have a purpose. You thought you were ordinary - just one of the billions on earth. You ask what difference does it make that you are here? Well, if you weren't that important, the devil won't be on your case. He attacks you constantly, bruise your heels, cloud your mind with hurtful thoughts that depress and make you lose hope that you can never be a voice in this world. Well, that's a lie. God didn't plan that you will go through the things you went through. But if you went through it, He is using it for your good. Because all things work together for good to them that love God and called according to His purpose. The things you went through were supposed to take you to a place beyond the consciousness of yourself. There is an agenda beyond you and you are pa...

The Relativity Of Normal

The same event could mean different things to different people. Our normal varies. Normal is a generally accepted ideology of history and people. Normal is ordinary, typical, regular, common, conventional, usual, traditional, etc. A life of the average (just fine) for some people. For some, normal is the progressive life of becoming the best version of oneself for some people. It is a balanced and diversified life where God is the core and definition. Who defines your normal? There are two types of living - the natural and supernatural. One seems normal and abnormal to each subscriber. Whose definition will you agree with? It is normal to live by your senses and reasonings - everybody does that. Acting and reacting to the things and situations the way you have learned over time to be true to you. An Abnormal is to live like a wind - Led by the Spirit of God and living by faith. But the former is someone's wisdom while the latter is foolishness. Which normal do you prefer?...

Possessing or positioning

The condition of having or owning something is called a possession. When a man buys, got, or steal something, so far it has changed hands from one person to the other (whether legal or illegal), wherever that thing is found is a possession to whoever claims it. Position on the other hand is a place where someone or something should be. " Should " in the definition shows that its an expected place. People have been finding a way to fit in so many places, but just because you fit somewhere doesn't mean that it is your place. Finding your place has to do with who you are first. In the process of knowing who you are, you will get to know what you are meant to do and where you are supposed to be. When you understand who you are, then you can take your place and have what you want. We have confused positioning to possessing things. They are two different things as defined above but could be related. When the positioning is right, the possession is given....

Fools for Christ

The word fool means a person who lacks good sense or judgment. Christ as the person who these people have the status "fool" for, is the wisdom of God. How can some set of people be a fool for the wisdom of God?    Paul wrote in his letter to the Corinthian church (1Corinthians 4:10; KJV), and he called the apostles fools for the sake of Christ to build the church to a point where they start to reign. They were the misfit of their time and they understood why it had to be that way, yet called fools. The fools don't call themselves fools, because in the first instance they don't know or understand that their thought and life pattern is below standard. But for a person to acknowledge that he is a fool, shows that he understands that he's a misfit, but for a purpose. The interesting thing is that the wise always consider themselves fools. You know why? It's so that they can learn from fellow wise men and grow more. They are always reachable and never...

HOME

A home is defined as a family living together in one building. A family consists of the father, mother, and children. I believe that each person has an effective role to play in the bringing forth of an extraordinary change in the result we've seen over the years about what a home as turned out to be. A place to find rest, love, and encouragement in the home, but how many people get it the whole package?    As written in one of Paul apostle's epistles, in the book of Ephesians 5:22-33. He said the head of the family is to be like Christ (as the standard). So as the head of the home, he must be responsible - a person who is able to respond to the needs of the home. He must Love not by samples from parents and friends, but as the Lord Himself who gave Himself for us(sacrifice) and takes it upon Himself to meet the need of His bride(the church).  He is caring for the church, washing her with water by the word of God so that she will be presentable to the Father. I be...

LOVED but USED

People fall into sin, yet they Love God. They really want to get things straightened out by explaining themselves forgetting that God knows and sees all. If you most know, you can Love God, yet the devil can still manipulate you.    Our Lord Jesus Christ said in Matthew 6:24 "no man can serve two masters for either he was will hate the one and love the other, or else he will hold to the one and despise the other. Ye can not serve God and mammon" . This verse is definitely true, but I would like to tell you that the devil doesn't care whether you hate and despise him. He can still get hold of you if you are wandering aimlessly.    He's had his trick of pulling Christians down if you still have lust in you (James 1:14). Thank God we have a way out -GRACE, but that is not a free access to commit sin, rather the ability to abstain from sin. You can be Loved by God, yet the devil might use you or the other way round. Whose representative are you? ...

THE LAW or THE SPIRIT

Some people say the LAW is bad, but come to think of it. If the Law is bad, why would it be given by God? If the law isn't bad why would God give the Holy Spirit? So many people with different questions.    I have come to the realization that every good gift comes from the Lord. I will like to make an illustration of health. We all know that without medicine, the human race might have been finished by now. But I also want us to know that God gave them knowledge of medicine to help us survive every one of our sicknesses, but at the same time He also wants us to experience DIVINE health.    When we take any drug or treatment prescribed by the doctor for a particular illness, that doesn't mean it won't come back, but when God heals, it can never come back, if you Believe. He always leaves us to choose the one we think is better. Which would you prefer medicine or divine healing?    I notice that God does not force anything, we just hav...

GIVE AND TAKE

To g ive is to transfer something from one's possession to another person's possession. Luke 6:38 says " GIVE and it shall be given unto to you..." In another word, when you give you will receive. It's a definite principle our Lord Jesus Christ gave us Himself. If you aren't giving, you will receive nothing in return. It's impossible to have a land with no seed planted expecting your barn to be full except if weeds and bushes are your target. When we continue that verse in Luke 6, we will find the reward of giving. It says "...good measures, pressed down, and shaking together and running over, shall men g ive onto your bosom..." This part is just saying when you hold anything from anybody, you are punishing yourself.    It's like holding something meant for God or someone who is in need of it, not knowing that others are also holding what is meant to be given back to you in multiple folds. Why would you want to do a business that won...
