God My Escape

When I say God is my escape, I'm not trying to say He is my getaway by flight or running from situations and circumstances. He is my peaceful way out of a storm, not running from the storm, but confronting and passing through it with the consciousness that He's my escape. It's probably not the first time you'll hear this and it won't be your last, but I want to join the number of witnesses that is saying and will say that Nothing is hard enough for the Lord. No matter how hard life is, know that God is your only escape. Even if your life is in a deliberate mess. You deliberately put yourself in that mess and now you are drowning in in it and it's about to choke you out. Know and understand that God is your only escape. The funny thing is that you are where God can express himself to you more. If you were doing everything right, you might come to a point where you think you can do all things by yourself. When you find yourself in error and the guilt is engulfing ...

For your sake

Out of greed for money, He was betrayed. So that some might maintain their position and scared to admit the truth, they lied and imprisoned Him.  He took up the challenge that the scriptures might be fulfilled. He didn't speak for Himself neither did He break the Law, rather He fulfilled it- the totality of it in the will of God.  He preached and practice the God, the law and the prophets hangs on what He taught and loved - Love. He had compassion and mercy on us. Mankind became free and empowered to go into greater heights in Christ through the Holy -Spirit that was sent to man when He left. Freedom came from forty lashes, crown of thorns, nakedness, crushed, bruised and death on the cross of one man - Jesus Christ. There is no greater love than a man lay down his life for his friends. Don't see this as a story of a generous guy that is willing to just die. He did all He did in God's will for your sake. How long will you stay bound? He's wait...

Father's Love

The position of a father means that the personality has a child. It might not necessarily mean a biological one, some are adopted, and some are children to a father by the virtue of learning one thing or the other. It doesn't matter where what makes a person a child, the fact that the person has impacted a part of himself and it's yielding results, he is a father. I won't want to add to the countless definition given to love, but Father's love simply means a strong affection from a man to his children. This kind of love helps a child to be encouraged, appreciated, and chastised (when necessary) Proverbs 3:12. The father's love is a rare one. Not everyone has the privilege to be close to his/her father, but the ones that experience love from a Father are happy and strong. So why is this important? It is because not everyone understands or has experienced this kind of love. And though we might not have the privilege to be loved in this way with our earthly refere...

HOME

A home is defined as a family living together in one building. A family consists of the father, mother, and children. I believe that each person has an effective role to play in the bringing forth of an extraordinary change in the result we've seen over the years about what a home as turned out to be. A place to find rest, love, and encouragement in the home, but how many people get it the whole package?    As written in one of Paul apostle's epistles, in the book of Ephesians 5:22-33. He said the head of the family is to be like Christ (as the standard). So as the head of the home, he must be responsible - a person who is able to respond to the needs of the home. He must Love not by samples from parents and friends, but as the Lord Himself who gave Himself for us(sacrifice) and takes it upon Himself to meet the need of His bride(the church).  He is caring for the church, washing her with water by the word of God so that she will be presentable to the Father. I be...

All You Have

You don't have what you have for the sake of yourself, but for other's sake. God gave you whatever you have because He wants others to see what He can do and that you also impact it into their lives with whatever it is. You became a Christian not for you to remain like that in your closet and just enjoy God all by your self. You are meant to "go into the world and preach the gospel"- Matthew 28:18-20. Evangelize to others and lead them to Christ just you were.   Material things are also things that mustn't keep to oneself and watch your neighbors suffer. Impact lives with your substance. Be it love, care, knowledge, e.t.c. Don't tell your neighbors to come back for something you have in your capacity ( Proverbs 3:27). Supply it if you have it. The more you acquire, the larger your responsibility becomes in all aspects (Ecclesiastics 5:11a). Share all you've been given by God to others. To whom much is given, more is expected. As God blesses y...

Will You?

When a lady is of age, she gets into a relationship with a guy she chooses to spend her entire life with(except if she's not interested in getting married). They get to know each other so well that they can make decisions for each other (well, not most of the time, but I believe this is how it ought to be). While waiting for the man to make up his mind about her (whether or not to marry her), after studying her for some time, she would have also been prepared (in all areas needed) for that day he would pop the question. On a day she least expected it and in a situation she had never thought about, the question might finally come - WILL YOU MARRY ME? She might be surprised to hear the question or not (say in her heart -thank God he finally got ). She would say "yes" because she has been in waiting for the question, then every other arrangement follows to get them married. A man has been beckoning unto someone he loves so much and who is supposed to be his bride. He ...
