Just like we physically have an immune system in our physical system, we also have one spiritually and that is Joy. And the way it can be compromised thereby we lose strength to go about day to day activities, so also can Joy be and we can lose spiritual strength to do the things of the spirit that please God. You can lose joy if you choose the lies than the truth of God. It doesn't take too much to be knocked off your horse if your guard is loose. The devil hunts to and fro, just to see an opening where he can launch his attack. The attack is so subtle that you want to know it was an attack until you start to discover that I'm not me. You know that you are a joyful person, but right now you're filled with anxiety and insecurities. You start questioning the promises of God if they are indeed true.
