Silence is deafening, can you hear it?  That was my friend talking to me in the middle of a silent session - everyone deciding not to talk for a while, then he broke that silence with his question. At that moment, it feels tiring hearing the silence around me. It's stressful and disheartening. It's not just the physical absence of sound, it more like numbness in the soul - uncertain of almost everything other than being alive. It's inescapable, everyone experiences it in different ways at different phases. It's the valley episode that balances life. It helps us appreciate our peaks and heights. It's a break, reflection, and strategy time. It helps us grow.  Helps us to be thoughtful and appreciative. It's nothing to be ashamed of, rather a season of praise for the glory ahead. Animals are beautiful alive and the presence of some of them adds beauty to the environment. But some animals have a better life being dead than they could ever be when they are alive. The products and byproducts from some animals are the reason for the existence of some people, animals, and plants. In their dead state, some are sources of protein, hide, skin, and other sources of accessories that have contributed greatly to the fashion world - feathers, bones, etc. If animals could have more usefulness in their death, how much more men. The concept of death for man in this context is not literally like that of the animals, but that was an illustration of how useful and impactful man can be in their death state. Just like we physically have an immune system in our physical system, we also have one spiritually and that is Joy. And the way it can be compromised thereby we lose strength to go about day to day activities, so also can Joy be and we can lose spiritual strength to do the things of the spirit that please God. You can lose joy if you choose the lies than the truth of God. It doesn't take too much to be knocked off your horse if your guard is loose. The first Mary was not the only lady named MARY which was recorded in the Bible is found in the new testament. She was "a virgin", which means she wasn't the only one who was a virgin in her time, but she found favor with God and was chosen to bear the Holy seed of God. Mary, the highly favored, blessed among women and the Lord was with her. That was how she was seen by the Lord. Her assignment was to carry the seed of God, deliver a son, and He shall save His people, rule them and His kingdom is forever. Her question wasn't what's in it for me? It was HOW? What's the plan? Can you imagine when a boy who can't even feed himself without his parents, decides to stand alone because he thinks he's got all it takes to become the head of a family? So is everything made by God is structured to survive in Him.    There are times when a man must decide whether by making up his mind or doing whatever is required of Him. The word "encourage" means to make someone to be more determined, hopeful, or confident. When a man makes a decision and needs back up, just to discover that people aren't supporting him. It downgrades and could lead to giving up on their goals. It doesn't feel good and might end up crushing the person. Except if the decision made is destructive, the other person might not be happy about the discouragement, but in the end, he/she will definitely laugh and say thank God for that man/woman's advice.  An encourager helps in the place of doubt. Some people aren't doubting, they are clear about what they want to do but they only need someone else's opinion just to know if they are doing the right or wrong thing. It might not do much on the decision but someone else's point of view in line with theirs' makes them happy and make them feel...

   Sometimes I wonder the greatness of our God. The ONLY LIVING GOD. The Lord of Host. He is everywhere at the same time. He is the great I AM. The TRUE GOD. He's INCOMPARABLE.    Some people say the LAW is bad, but come to think of it. If the Law is bad, why would it be given by God? If the law isn't bad why would God give the Holy Spirit? So many people with different questions.    I have come to the realization that every good gift comes from the Lord. I will like to make an illustration of health. We all know that without medicine, the human race might have been finished by now. But I also want us to know that God gave them knowledge of medicine to help us survive every one of our sicknesses, but at the same time He also wants us to experience DIVINE health.    When we take any drug or treatment prescribed by the doctor for a particular illness, that doesn't mean it won't come back, but when God heals, it can never come back, if you Believe.
