Photosynthesis for example is the process of plants receiving energy from the radiation of the sun to produce the chemical compounds necessary for growth and survival. Meriam Webster defines it as a synthesis of chemical compounds with the aid of radiant energy and especially light. Our focus is not the Biology or Physics of light but Christ Jesus - the LIGHT. We will be painting relatable scenarios that will help us as we dive into the concept using scientific terms. Copy and paste is a very popular thing in today's technological world. It is easy and efficient, in that when you are working with big data, it is a fast way to finish work on time and duplicate accurately.  But it is amazing to find out that people use this same principle in their physical lives and decision making. Life is not a rigid system. It's diverse, flexible, and beautiful. So you don't need a planned out office package to live it. As a matter of fact, life is designed differently for individuals and that makes most of our lives a customized journey, tailored by similar principles but different paths. The first Mary was not the only lady named MARY which was recorded in the Bible is found in the new testament. She was "a virgin", which means she wasn't the only one who was a virgin in her time, but she found favor with God and was chosen to bear the Holy seed of God. Mary, the highly favored, blessed among women and the Lord was with her. That was how she was seen by the Lord. Her assignment was to carry the seed of God, deliver a son, and He shall save His people, rule them and His kingdom is forever. Her question wasn't what's in it for me? It was HOW? What's the plan? Out of greed for money, He was betrayed. So that some might maintain their position and scared to admit the truth, they lied and imprisoned Him.  He took up the challenge that the scriptures might be fulfilled. He didn't speak for Himself neither did He break the Law, rather He fulfilled it- the totality of it in the will of God.  He preached and practice the God, the law and the prophets hangs on what He taught and loved - Love. He had compassion and mercy on us. Mankind became free and empowered to go into greater heights in Christ through the Holy -Spirit that was sent to man when He left. Can you imagine when a boy who can't even feed himself without his parents, decides to stand alone because he thinks he's got all it takes to become the head of a family? You know he has set himself up for troubles.  When the devil thought that he can set his throne above God's, he found himself in far below expectations. Can you imagine what and how a creation can do and live without the creator? Miserable is an understatement. As much as an invention is dependent on the manufacturer. So is everything made by God is structured to survive in Him. God is LIFE and only Him can supply it, anything outside Him is DEATH!!!  I know we must have come across the scriptural verse that talked about "poor in spirit"-(Matthew 5:3). This is the genetic makeup of man. Who is coming? Why is He coming? What is He coming to do? The major reason anyone would stand for anything is because they don't just know, but understand the purpose and mission of that thing.  Sometimes, I find out that I am carried away by activities that don't really matter to the reason why I joined a group or something in the first place. So, what I do to get myself back on track is that: I slow down and ask myself how I got where I am and why I started or made the decision in the first place. And by the grace of God through the help of the Holy Spirit, It works - I find my way back. As Christians, we have been taught so many things and have been involved in so many things(which are very good) that we sometimes lose track of why we are believers in the first place. It is good to serve God and to love others as ourselves, but we must also remember to go back to the cross. When a lady is of age, she gets into a relationship with a guy she chooses to spend her entire life with(except if she's not interested in getting married). They get to know each other so well that they can make decisions for each other (well, not most of the time, but I believe this is how it ought to be). While waiting for the man to make up his mind about her (whether or not to marry her), after studying her for some time, she would have also been prepared (in all areas needed) for that day he would pop the question. On a day she least expected it and in a situation she had never thought about, the question might finally come - WILL YOU MARRY ME?
