A man is made up of different things and whatever he is, is a product of what he thinks on in his heart. There are so many ways that lead to different destinations. We follow the way we think or believe is right and that's how we begin to form our belief systems. A belief system is an organized thought pattern that a person has repeated and proven to be true to him thereby forming his realities on it.  The things we believe in is what we see as our truth. When a person chooses a path and pattern of life, he believes every other person should do the same, because his belief has become his reality. Until there is another conviction greater what he thinks is the best, he won't let go and will constantly cause arguments or conflict with anyone who wants to impose their pattern on him.  But when a man chooses the way of Love in Christ Jesus, he has the truth and Life all wrapped together.    The moment the word "children" appears, what comes to mind most the time is the result or outcome of a process. Especially when the psalmist was describing children in Psalms 127:3-5. My eyes were open to seeing results as children. Definitely, children have fathers. Let not go into defining children ( you can always read my post on CHILDREN), But my concern is that sometimes we (Christians) are referred to as Abraham's offspring and at the same time, we are called the children of God. How are we children of God and also Abraham's? It is possible that we are the offspring of both God and Abraham (His friend). We are considered as Abraham's offspring when we believe (Galatians 3:6-8), because the first to exercise Faith in God was Abraham and we are called his children because we are doing exactly what he did which was counted to him as righteousness(John 8:39) - FAITH . We know that being born again is the death(not dying) of the natural man and the resurrection​ of the spirit man in Christ.   Meaning being dead totally to the works of the flesh and walking in the spirit.    Some people have established that the life of a believer is not a religious one, but a way of life . While that is right, we must also understand that it's not only a culture - a way of life, but also THE WAY IN LIFE.   As Christians, we have a life patterned after Christ Jesus and also understand that in Him, we live, move and have our being. The pattern makes a lifestyle and because it's different, the world made it a religion.  People of the world sees us as " extreme moralist" .
