All You Have

   You don't have what you have for the sake of yourself, but for other's sake. God gave you whatever you have because He wants others to see what He can do and that you also impact it into their lives with whatever it is.

You became a Christian not for you to remain like that in your closet and just enjoy God all by your self. You are meant to "go into the world and preach the gospel"- Matthew 28:18-20. Evangelize to others and lead them to Christ just you were.

  Material things are also things that mustn't keep to oneself and watch your neighbors suffer. Impact lives with your substance. Be it love, care, knowledge, e.t.c. Don't tell your neighbors to come back for something you have in your capacity ( Proverbs 3:27). Supply it if you have it.

The more you acquire, the larger your responsibility becomes in all aspects (Ecclesiastics 5:11a). Share all you've been given by God to others. To whom much is given, more is expected. As God blesses you, also bless others in return and you will experience abundance.

The King Comes

Who is coming? Why is He coming? What is He coming to do? The major reason anyone would stand for anything is because they don't just know, but understand the purpose and mission of that thing.  Sometimes, I find out that I am carried away by activities that don't really matter to the reason why I joined a group or something in the first place. So, what I do to get myself back on track is that: I slow down and ask myself how I got where I am and why I started or made the decision in the first place. And by the grace of God through the help of the Holy Spirit, It works - I find my way back. As Christians, we have been taught so many things and have been involved in so many things(which are very good) that we sometimes lose track of why we are believers in the first place. SAME GOD

   A song in Yoruba (Nigeria) says " the Lord is, as the time of old, but we don't worship God like old times " . This is very true. I always wonder why there was power in the early churches, but now, we hardly see the manifestations like the ones we read about the book of Acts of the Apostles?!    Some times ago I thought that Christianity was a joke passed down to generations. We have little people in the church performing miracles, what are the other members of the church doing? Are we just smiling at situations and circumstances and say God is in control when God has bestowed power to do on us and has made us gods (psalms 82)?    We are supposed to be armies pulling down strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4) of the devil instead the church is held in captivity of the strong.
