enCOURAGEr

There are times when a man must decide whether by making up his mind or doing whatever is required of Him. The word "encourage" means to make someone to be more determined, hopeful, or confident.

When a man makes a decision and needs back up, just to discover that people aren't supporting him. It downgrades and could lead to giving up on their goals. It doesn't feel good and might end up crushing the person. Except if the decision made is destructive, the other person might not be happy about the discouragement, but in the end, he/she will definitely laugh and say thank God for that man/woman's advice.

An encourager helps in the place of doubt. Some people aren't doubting, they are clear about what they want to do but they only need someone else's opinion just to know if they are doing the right or wrong thing. It might not do much on the decision but someone else's point of view in line with theirs' makes them happy and make them feel align.

Out of all decisions to make in life, salvations the best of it all. I stand to encourage you dear, don't doubt it, it is indeed a good thing to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and personal savior. Make up your mind and you'll be surprised at the result of this decision. Taste and see that the Lord is good.

We can also encourage people in different ways. It might be in actions or words. We live in a time and era where discouragement from people is the order of the day especially when your opinions/ideas/intentions are good, but they have little to offer. Well done goes a long way. It shows that you are observing, believe, and appreciate the fellow.

But if you find yourself in a situation where nobody encourages you, summon courage and believe that the great ENCOURAGER will be with you and guide you all the truth you need. Before you look around look within. Encourage and appreciate yourself and your ideas. People sometimes see the way you love what you do and then encourage you not to give up, but when you don't motivate yourself, who will?

You will be able to encourage others when you have enough courage to face your challenges. Courage is a virtue from God through the help of the Holy Spirit. You can also be a channel of encouragement to others. Before you can overflow, you need to have. Be encouraged.

Be hopeful. Stay positive. Love what you do and most importantly believe in the Lord your God and you will prosper. In Him alone can you find the fulfillment of man's shortcomings. He wants the best for you. Believe me, all those ideas came from Him(it's like a seed that needs to be watered). Only Him can nurture it till it becomes a great tree.

Don't give up on God, ask whatever you want in the name of Jesus and you will receive it. He is ready to give abundantly beyond your imaginations. He is the GREAT ENCOURAGER. You can always count on Him.

 SHALOM!!!

Wrap Ups

Endings are better than beginnings. Sticking to it is better than standing out ( Ecclesiastes 7:8; MSG). The end justifies the means and starting could be great, but there is nothing as fulfilling and satisfying as the wrapping up of a thing with strength and grace. It is better not to start anything at all than to give up halfway. If we must start a thing, then we must follow through to the end. It builds discipline, consistency, and focus. When a person sets out for a journey, the thing expected on the way can only be assumed but not accurate. Which makes the destination and finishing well a necessity for greatness and forging further. This year has been amazing and some many things were unexpected, but regardless of the emotions experienced, God is good! When we thought it was over and there was no way we will make it, He showed and made a way. The most important thing when we are wrapping up anything is Thanksgiving. It could have only been God. If only we c...

Beyond the natural laws

Laws are laid down principles to help people to walk in certain directions. It is structured, firm, and sometimes rigid. Laws are expected to always follow the same pattern and anyone found doing differently will be accused and penalized. The scribes and Pharisees were always angry at the ways and teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ because he wasn't doing the same as them yet have mind-blowing impacts better than theirs. He taught, people listened and yielded, but they force people to do it their own way (Mark 6:1-3).    They are ignorant that even though we have one big God, He is diverse in his ways and acts. No wonder people find it difficult to believe in the ways and characters of a child of God. It is a life led by the wind of God's Spirit because it's beyond the normal laws they believe in. Natural laws are principles generally accepted by people and passed down from one generation to another. We are Christians. We operate in the supernatural ...

Fear in the Process

There is an African proverb that says, "the demon you've known for a while is better than the angel you just met". As weird as this sounds, many people consciously or unconsciously act it out. This shows the hardness of people's hearts towards change. Change is constant, but it can be a very weird process and experience. The Israelites desired to go back to Egypt and continue the life of slavery and pain that they were used to than to be in the wilderness and uncertain of what the promised land looked like. Yours might not be as dramatic as the Exodus. It could be the Lord telling to you take steps about your finances by saving and sowing. Or leaving the life that is not accurate with the word and plan of God for your life. It could be for you to stop saying to yourself and others, "That's who I am and I can't change." Our change experiences are different. You know what the Lord is addressing in your life. And it may have raised questions of doubt li...
