Virginity with Dignity

What does dignity and virginity mean? How do they relate?  Dignity can be defined as the state worthy of esteem and respect, while virginity simply means a state of been pure to sexual intercourse. The combination of the two words in a sentence means the quality of being a virgin.

Let's move further by knowing the meaning of a virgin. A virgin is someone who hasn't involved in sexual intercourse. Someone might want to ask what does virginity have to do with Christianity? It has a lot to do with it.

A virgin also means someone who isn't married yet. In the kingdom of God we believe that a person who isn't married to anyone before should still be a Virgin. As Christian who had renounced the world must be virgins to Christ Jesus.

Virginity signifies purity, sacredness, and holiness. According to Matthew 25:1-12, we are virgins in the eyes of Lord Jesus Christ - He's our husbandman. He made us holy and separated from the filthiness of the world because He has a wonderful wedding arrangement for us at His Father's kingdom.

According to the above passage, we can discover that there are ten virgins, but some were fools while some are wise. The wise virgins made it to the feast while foolish ones were shut out of their Joy. I pray that we won't miss our rewards in Jesus name. But for us not to be shut out, we need to have the dignity of virginity which is WISDOM. Wisdom is the principal thing (proverbs 4:7). Graciously, God has made Christ unto us WISDOM and righteousness of God (1st Corinthians 1:30). Will you choose His wisdom?

Shalom!!!

You Are Mary

The first Mary was not the only lady named MARY which was recorded in the Bible is found in the new testament. She was "a virgin", which means she wasn't the only one who was a virgin in her time, but she found favor with God and was chosen to bear the Holy seed of God. Mary, the highly favored, blessed among women and the Lord was with her. That was how she was seen by the Lord. Her assignment was to carry the seed of God, deliver a son, and He shall save His people, rule them and His kingdom is forever. Her question wasn't what's in it for me? It was HOW? What's the plan? The answer was the Holy Spirit will come upon you, the power of the Highest hover over you. Therefore, the child you bring to birth will be called Holy, Son of God. It's all planned by God, yours is to align. You are Mary, but whose seed are you carrying? Definitely not Christ Jesus. But what result will the seed you are carrying bring? Are you aligned to be chosen? Are you recept...

Wrap Ups

Endings are better than beginnings. Sticking to it is better than standing out ( Ecclesiastes 7:8; MSG). The end justifies the means and starting could be great, but there is nothing as fulfilling and satisfying as the wrapping up of a thing with strength and grace. It is better not to start anything at all than to give up halfway. If we must start a thing, then we must follow through to the end. It builds discipline, consistency, and focus. When a person sets out for a journey, the thing expected on the way can only be assumed but not accurate. Which makes the destination and finishing well a necessity for greatness and forging further. This year has been amazing and some many things were unexpected, but regardless of the emotions experienced, God is good! When we thought it was over and there was no way we will make it, He showed and made a way. The most important thing when we are wrapping up anything is Thanksgiving. It could have only been God. If only we c...

God's or Abraham's?

The moment the word "children" appears, what comes to mind most the time is the result or outcome of a process. Especially when the psalmist was describing children in Psalms 127:3-5. My eyes were open to seeing results as children. Definitely, children have fathers. Let not go into defining children ( you can always read my post on CHILDREN), But my concern is that sometimes we (Christians) are referred to as Abraham's offspring and at the same time, we are called the children of God. How are we children of God and also Abraham's? It is possible that we are the offspring of both God and Abraham (His friend). We are considered as Abraham's offspring when we believe (Galatians 3:6-8), because the first to exercise Faith in God was Abraham and we are called his children because we are doing exactly what he did which was counted to him as righteousness(John 8:39) - FAITH . So we (believers) are the re-produced version(children) of the Father of Faith - Abraham...
