Gasping Out?

The race is a marathon. Why should you give up now? The journey is far dear. I want to encourage people that are running the race faithfully, fighting the good fight of faith and holding on to the testimony of Christ they have received, that the Lord is for and with you. Don't gasp out now. Don't give up.

Those that run, do it to gain something. They pursue and strife to get what others also want. So giving up isn't a choice for them, but they must press the more. And Paul the apostle said:
You've all been to the stadium and seen the athletes race. Everyone runs; one wins. Run to win. All good athletes train hard. They do it for a gold medal that tarnishes and fades. You're after one that's gold eternally. I don't know about you, but I'm running hard for the finish line. I'm giving it everything I've got. No sloppy living for me! I'm staying alert and in top condition.(1 Corinthians 9:24-26; MSG)

If everything is hard and the world has no meaning to you, just hang in there and let God do His thing. The first thing to know is that he loves you still. When your strength is tested and found to be little, hold on to the source of all strengths. Do not let Him go like Jacob and until your strength is renewed.

When the situation wants you to back out, it's time to hold on still. Jesus is the way and He loves you. He won't leave you until you have your victory in your hands. There are people who are following your Footsteps. They are taking after your steps in the way(Christ Jesus). They want to be like you. Will you fail God with your unbelief or your invisible followers(people you don't know are there, but they are definitely watching and following and bring more people into the kingdom)?

Always see the gasping out situation as a place of struggle or a valley of decision and the only thing that can tell where you'll fall is your choice. Just hold on brethren. His grace is available for you and he will make His strength known in your weakness. Believe this and press on to the high calling.

Remember the answered prayers, your testimonies, the victory behind the challenge and souls that will be encouraged and challenged to do the right thing. You as a Christian wherever you are must be the standard.

Will Christ's death be in vain because you fail to declare Him Lord and savior? Will the rewards of your past works be in vain? Think about it. He loves your sister than anyone else can on this planet. Brother, He's the help and will always come through for you. Look up to the hills and receive strength.

 SHALOM!!!

Wrap Ups

Endings are better than beginnings. Sticking to it is better than standing out ( Ecclesiastes 7:8; MSG). The end justifies the means and starting could be great, but there is nothing as fulfilling and satisfying as the wrapping up of a thing with strength and grace. It is better not to start anything at all than to give up halfway. If we must start a thing, then we must follow through to the end. It builds discipline, consistency, and focus. When a person sets out for a journey, the thing expected on the way can only be assumed but not accurate. Which makes the destination and finishing well a necessity for greatness and forging further. This year has been amazing and some many things were unexpected, but regardless of the emotions experienced, God is good! When we thought it was over and there was no way we will make it, He showed and made a way. The most important thing when we are wrapping up anything is Thanksgiving. It could have only been God. If only we c...

Beyond the natural laws

Laws are laid down principles to help people to walk in certain directions. It is structured, firm, and sometimes rigid. Laws are expected to always follow the same pattern and anyone found doing differently will be accused and penalized. The scribes and Pharisees were always angry at the ways and teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ because he wasn't doing the same as them yet have mind-blowing impacts better than theirs. He taught, people listened and yielded, but they force people to do it their own way (Mark 6:1-3).    They are ignorant that even though we have one big God, He is diverse in his ways and acts. No wonder people find it difficult to believe in the ways and characters of a child of God. It is a life led by the wind of God's Spirit because it's beyond the normal laws they believe in. Natural laws are principles generally accepted by people and passed down from one generation to another. We are Christians. We operate in the supernatural ...

Fear in the Process

There is an African proverb that says, "the demon you've known for a while is better than the angel you just met". As weird as this sounds, many people consciously or unconsciously act it out. This shows the hardness of people's hearts towards change. Change is constant, but it can be a very weird process and experience. The Israelites desired to go back to Egypt and continue the life of slavery and pain that they were used to than to be in the wilderness and uncertain of what the promised land looked like. Yours might not be as dramatic as the Exodus. It could be the Lord telling to you take steps about your finances by saving and sowing. Or leaving the life that is not accurate with the word and plan of God for your life. It could be for you to stop saying to yourself and others, "That's who I am and I can't change." Our change experiences are different. You know what the Lord is addressing in your life. And it may have raised questions of doubt li...
