DESTINED TO BE.

In the midst of so many people in a group, there is always a need for someone to take the lead. Among those that are of the same quality, there is always a person who is outstanding. Been outstanding doesn't mean the person has the qualifications, but there is a place of favor, Love, and mercy which is GRACE.
If the world was to give anyone Love, favour, and mercy, one day the person must have to pay back. But when God shows His, it's everlasting. That is the reason why we Christians must understand that we aren't just a coincidence, but predestined set of people selected by grace to show forth God praises.
There is a purpose of your calling, it depends on your readiness. You aren't called out of so many people for nothing but you are out of to effect a change in something. To every call, there is a purpose for it.
Our call to salvation is to make the world know there is a God who can make you a sign and a wonder. Let's take a look at men in the Scripture. Noah was called to save the world from the destruction coming upon it (Genesis 6:9-22). Abraham was called to be a channel of blessings( Genesis 12:1-2). Joseph was called to be a great leader( Genesis 37:1-11). Peter was called to be a fisher of men into God's kingdom(Matthew 4:19). Paul was called to take the gospel of Christ to the gentiles( Acts 13:2). You are called to be a change in one thing or the other (1peter 2:9).
It doesn't matter where you are now or what you do, as far as God is involved, he can turn a drop of water into a mighty ocean. Faithful is He that has called you because He will do the job (1 Thessalonians 5:24), he wants you to be His representative. There is always a God-given space for you to occupy. You don't need to search, He will create it. So don't think of being like someone else, because He's got a great plan for you. Have FAITH that He's got you covered.
You don't have to be qualified before you are called but when you are called, grace becomes the qualification. Do not worry about what the future holds or where He's taking you to.
As far as God is leading, the journey is always glorious at the end, but first, you have to come unto salvation by believing in Jesus Christ as Lord and savior. Then, know your place and look up to Him for the filling of the space to show forth His praises. SHALOM!!!

You Are Mary

The first Mary was not the only lady named MARY which was recorded in the Bible is found in the new testament. She was "a virgin", which means she wasn't the only one who was a virgin in her time, but she found favor with God and was chosen to bear the Holy seed of God. Mary, the highly favored, blessed among women and the Lord was with her. That was how she was seen by the Lord. Her assignment was to carry the seed of God, deliver a son, and He shall save His people, rule them and His kingdom is forever. Her question wasn't what's in it for me? It was HOW? What's the plan? The answer was the Holy Spirit will come upon you, the power of the Highest hover over you. Therefore, the child you bring to birth will be called Holy, Son of God. It's all planned by God, yours is to align. You are Mary, but whose seed are you carrying? Definitely not Christ Jesus. But what result will the seed you are carrying bring? Are you aligned to be chosen? Are you recept...

Wrap Ups

Endings are better than beginnings. Sticking to it is better than standing out ( Ecclesiastes 7:8; MSG). The end justifies the means and starting could be great, but there is nothing as fulfilling and satisfying as the wrapping up of a thing with strength and grace. It is better not to start anything at all than to give up halfway. If we must start a thing, then we must follow through to the end. It builds discipline, consistency, and focus. When a person sets out for a journey, the thing expected on the way can only be assumed but not accurate. Which makes the destination and finishing well a necessity for greatness and forging further. This year has been amazing and some many things were unexpected, but regardless of the emotions experienced, God is good! When we thought it was over and there was no way we will make it, He showed and made a way. The most important thing when we are wrapping up anything is Thanksgiving. It could have only been God. If only we c...

God's or Abraham's?

The moment the word "children" appears, what comes to mind most the time is the result or outcome of a process. Especially when the psalmist was describing children in Psalms 127:3-5. My eyes were open to seeing results as children. Definitely, children have fathers. Let not go into defining children ( you can always read my post on CHILDREN), But my concern is that sometimes we (Christians) are referred to as Abraham's offspring and at the same time, we are called the children of God. How are we children of God and also Abraham's? It is possible that we are the offspring of both God and Abraham (His friend). We are considered as Abraham's offspring when we believe (Galatians 3:6-8), because the first to exercise Faith in God was Abraham and we are called his children because we are doing exactly what he did which was counted to him as righteousness(John 8:39) - FAITH . So we (believers) are the re-produced version(children) of the Father of Faith - Abraham...
