FAITH

We've learned that as Christians, we are to live by faith because we have been justified and we are called the "JUST" because Jesus Christ stood in our place in death and resurrected that we might take His place in life.
We have been told so many things about FAITH. It comprises of so many things when broken into pieces but the scripture has a perfect definition for it. It says "faith is the SUBSTANCE of things hoped for, the EVIDENCE of things not seen" ( Hebrews 11:1 KJV).
When we talk about substance and evidence which are the basic ingredients in the faith definition. Substance is a thing already in existence and evidence is the visible sign of something. Faith simply means holding on to things though not physically seen but in existence.
Faith can be divided into parts. We have the SEEING FAITH that has to do with your imaginations, what we see happening and how we want it to happen. Pictures of the end result of that particular issue should be seen. In all situations, let's look up to Jesus Christ and always see Him at the center of the situation providing solutions to it ( Hebrews 12:2).
We have the BELIEVING FAITH, this is where we have a strong conviction about everything we've pictured and plan. Without this nothing can be received from God. This is vital and it goes a long way in the things of God (James 1:6).
We have the SPEAKING FAITH. You can only confess what you believe. Those things you've seen and believed, say them out in prayers, testimonies by thanking God in advance. Your words help in the building of your Faith (Matthew 21:21).
The ACTING FAITH is the stage where you give the steps you have planned a trial and trust God while doing it. Faith without work is dead (James 2:26), you can't have faith and be lazy, nothing will come forth(James 2:18). Don't be deceived, nothing works until you make it work.
The path of faith has some things added to it. Though we pray, but we can only receive our request by believing it (Matthew 21:22). Faith helps prayer, while prayer builds faith. They work hand in hand. Another important role that works with faith is PATIENCE (Romans 8:25). Those that wait on the Lord ( patience in the place of prayer), will renew their strength (increase their faith by answering their prayers).
Don't get tired of prayer, build your faith with it, don't be weary in faith, but patiently wait for the result. The Lord doesn't delay, it only takes processes for it to come to pass and He makes all things beautiful in his own time. Trust and wait. He all things under control and he'll come through for you.

 Shalom!

You Are Mary

The first Mary was not the only lady named MARY which was recorded in the Bible is found in the new testament. She was "a virgin", which means she wasn't the only one who was a virgin in her time, but she found favor with God and was chosen to bear the Holy seed of God. Mary, the highly favored, blessed among women and the Lord was with her. That was how she was seen by the Lord. Her assignment was to carry the seed of God, deliver a son, and He shall save His people, rule them and His kingdom is forever. Her question wasn't what's in it for me? It was HOW? What's the plan? The answer was the Holy Spirit will come upon you, the power of the Highest hover over you. Therefore, the child you bring to birth will be called Holy, Son of God. It's all planned by God, yours is to align. You are Mary, but whose seed are you carrying? Definitely not Christ Jesus. But what result will the seed you are carrying bring? Are you aligned to be chosen? Are you recept...

Wrap Ups

Endings are better than beginnings. Sticking to it is better than standing out ( Ecclesiastes 7:8; MSG). The end justifies the means and starting could be great, but there is nothing as fulfilling and satisfying as the wrapping up of a thing with strength and grace. It is better not to start anything at all than to give up halfway. If we must start a thing, then we must follow through to the end. It builds discipline, consistency, and focus. When a person sets out for a journey, the thing expected on the way can only be assumed but not accurate. Which makes the destination and finishing well a necessity for greatness and forging further. This year has been amazing and some many things were unexpected, but regardless of the emotions experienced, God is good! When we thought it was over and there was no way we will make it, He showed and made a way. The most important thing when we are wrapping up anything is Thanksgiving. It could have only been God. If only we c...

God's or Abraham's?

The moment the word "children" appears, what comes to mind most the time is the result or outcome of a process. Especially when the psalmist was describing children in Psalms 127:3-5. My eyes were open to seeing results as children. Definitely, children have fathers. Let not go into defining children ( you can always read my post on CHILDREN), But my concern is that sometimes we (Christians) are referred to as Abraham's offspring and at the same time, we are called the children of God. How are we children of God and also Abraham's? It is possible that we are the offspring of both God and Abraham (His friend). We are considered as Abraham's offspring when we believe (Galatians 3:6-8), because the first to exercise Faith in God was Abraham and we are called his children because we are doing exactly what he did which was counted to him as righteousness(John 8:39) - FAITH . So we (believers) are the re-produced version(children) of the Father of Faith - Abraham...
