THE BIG DAY

The reason for salvation, sanctification, justification is to be glorified(Romans 8:30). The essence of Christianity is to make it to the place where Christ promised us(John 14:2). Why would anyone want to undergo these processes just to end up in hell?
We enjoy everything in Christ and often times we forget about our happy ending. Let's remember that the one who starts something isn't as important as the person who finishes it. Don't lose focus on what is important all in the name of enjoying grace. Grace is the ability to do the right thing to please God not to say you're covered despite your secret sins(Romans 6:1-2). Grace doesn't mean there won't be challenges either, but the ability to overcome them (John 16:33).
There will always be tests of faith every now and then. Let's wait upon the Lord, never to be discouraged (James 1:12), but hold on fast to the faith that you've received through Christ Jesus. He never said it would be easy, but the reward will worth more than it.
Don't be deceived, Jesus Christ the Son of God is alive and He's coming back sooner than ever. Be ready for the Lord's day. His reward is with Him to give every man according to there works(Revelations 22:12).
It will be so bad to see someone who has been faithful all along to be left behind because of just a little lie. That day would be a great and terrible day. Let's be prepared for the big day of harvest ( Revelation 14:14-20). Rapture is the greatest event any Christian should never miss. Please be prepared brethren.
Drop sinful ways, turn to God, surrender your life to Christ. Don't be tired of studying and meditating His word. Allow the holy spirit to led you through the journey. Focus your gaze on Christ and your mind on that glorious home. Rapture is so close, be prepared brethren and the Lord will take us home in Jesus name. Amen. SHALOM!

You Are Mary

The first Mary was not the only lady named MARY which was recorded in the Bible is found in the new testament. She was "a virgin", which means she wasn't the only one who was a virgin in her time, but she found favor with God and was chosen to bear the Holy seed of God. Mary, the highly favored, blessed among women and the Lord was with her. That was how she was seen by the Lord. Her assignment was to carry the seed of God, deliver a son, and He shall save His people, rule them and His kingdom is forever. Her question wasn't what's in it for me? It was HOW? What's the plan? The answer was the Holy Spirit will come upon you, the power of the Highest hover over you. Therefore, the child you bring to birth will be called Holy, Son of God. It's all planned by God, yours is to align. You are Mary, but whose seed are you carrying? Definitely not Christ Jesus. But what result will the seed you are carrying bring? Are you aligned to be chosen? Are you recept...

Wrap Ups

Endings are better than beginnings. Sticking to it is better than standing out ( Ecclesiastes 7:8; MSG). The end justifies the means and starting could be great, but there is nothing as fulfilling and satisfying as the wrapping up of a thing with strength and grace. It is better not to start anything at all than to give up halfway. If we must start a thing, then we must follow through to the end. It builds discipline, consistency, and focus. When a person sets out for a journey, the thing expected on the way can only be assumed but not accurate. Which makes the destination and finishing well a necessity for greatness and forging further. This year has been amazing and some many things were unexpected, but regardless of the emotions experienced, God is good! When we thought it was over and there was no way we will make it, He showed and made a way. The most important thing when we are wrapping up anything is Thanksgiving. It could have only been God. If only we c...

God's or Abraham's?

The moment the word "children" appears, what comes to mind most the time is the result or outcome of a process. Especially when the psalmist was describing children in Psalms 127:3-5. My eyes were open to seeing results as children. Definitely, children have fathers. Let not go into defining children ( you can always read my post on CHILDREN), But my concern is that sometimes we (Christians) are referred to as Abraham's offspring and at the same time, we are called the children of God. How are we children of God and also Abraham's? It is possible that we are the offspring of both God and Abraham (His friend). We are considered as Abraham's offspring when we believe (Galatians 3:6-8), because the first to exercise Faith in God was Abraham and we are called his children because we are doing exactly what he did which was counted to him as righteousness(John 8:39) - FAITH . So we (believers) are the re-produced version(children) of the Father of Faith - Abraham...
