Get Understanding

What haven't we heard of? Is it about the Lord's faithfulness, mercy, loving-kindness, grace, righteousness, peace, joy, strength, or salvation? We heard everything over and over again, but we can't point at it's working experience and we wonder why?
All through the ages, the Lord is ever the same. He's not like us, that deceives, frustrate opportunities, proud, lie and change our standards to please others and to expect a reward in return. He's integrity is certain (Numbers 23:19).
I would have loved to share some things with you, but what about the ones we've learned, a long time ago. We spend time to acquire knowledge, but we spend little or no time to explore it.
If we spend the quality of time on getting understand, like we do for knowledge, wisdom would have been common in the kingdom. It is saddening to see people who are eager to know "how" without the "why".
Wisdom is the application of "how", its possible to get a good result from what is applied without the"why" of the matter. But the question why is the essence of it.

Wisdom is the principal thing but dig deep into things you know before you apply (proverbs 4:7). Understand it! I would say that we should all check what we have known and ask why we have this or that in existence. As Christians, we have the holy spirit to help in answering the questions, the word of God to confirm it and people to share insights. Take advantage and be wise.

Shalom!

You Are Mary

The first Mary was not the only lady named MARY which was recorded in the Bible is found in the new testament. She was "a virgin", which means she wasn't the only one who was a virgin in her time, but she found favor with God and was chosen to bear the Holy seed of God. Mary, the highly favored, blessed among women and the Lord was with her. That was how she was seen by the Lord. Her assignment was to carry the seed of God, deliver a son, and He shall save His people, rule them and His kingdom is forever. Her question wasn't what's in it for me? It was HOW? What's the plan? The answer was the Holy Spirit will come upon you, the power of the Highest hover over you. Therefore, the child you bring to birth will be called Holy, Son of God. It's all planned by God, yours is to align. You are Mary, but whose seed are you carrying? Definitely not Christ Jesus. But what result will the seed you are carrying bring? Are you aligned to be chosen? Are you recept...

Wrap Ups

Endings are better than beginnings. Sticking to it is better than standing out ( Ecclesiastes 7:8; MSG). The end justifies the means and starting could be great, but there is nothing as fulfilling and satisfying as the wrapping up of a thing with strength and grace. It is better not to start anything at all than to give up halfway. If we must start a thing, then we must follow through to the end. It builds discipline, consistency, and focus. When a person sets out for a journey, the thing expected on the way can only be assumed but not accurate. Which makes the destination and finishing well a necessity for greatness and forging further. This year has been amazing and some many things were unexpected, but regardless of the emotions experienced, God is good! When we thought it was over and there was no way we will make it, He showed and made a way. The most important thing when we are wrapping up anything is Thanksgiving. It could have only been God. If only we c...

God's or Abraham's?

The moment the word "children" appears, what comes to mind most the time is the result or outcome of a process. Especially when the psalmist was describing children in Psalms 127:3-5. My eyes were open to seeing results as children. Definitely, children have fathers. Let not go into defining children ( you can always read my post on CHILDREN), But my concern is that sometimes we (Christians) are referred to as Abraham's offspring and at the same time, we are called the children of God. How are we children of God and also Abraham's? It is possible that we are the offspring of both God and Abraham (His friend). We are considered as Abraham's offspring when we believe (Galatians 3:6-8), because the first to exercise Faith in God was Abraham and we are called his children because we are doing exactly what he did which was counted to him as righteousness(John 8:39) - FAITH . So we (believers) are the re-produced version(children) of the Father of Faith - Abraham...
