THE CONVINCED CONVICT

Being convicted is to be proven guilty in a court of law. Law also means a certain laid down principles to be lived by. A court is a place where legal cases are heard or where a formal legal meeting in which evidence about crimes, disagreements, e.t.c: is present to a judge and often a jury so that decisions can be made according to the law.
While the state of being convinced is to make sure someone believes what you say is true or agree with you and your plans. Before a man can claim to be convinced, definitely He's been opened to a new light that makes the former one old.
You must be convinced of an old thing before the exposure to new things. In Christiandom, we must remember that in 1 peter 2:9, we have been called from darkness into light to show the praises of Him that called us (who is LORD GOD Himself).
But come to think of it, humans aren't so stupid to be in the darkness when they know there is light for them to walk in. What went wrong? Oh! I see- they never knew. But how come the shift from normal to abnormal becomes the order of the generations? Why won't they know there is a greater light?
The Great Light is Christ Jesus who came to this world for the reconciliation of God and man through the unending Love the Father has bestowed on us. And the reason for our transformation is that we also might be lights that shine among men (when He has gone to be with Father) for people to glorify Him.
The unawareness of the people of the is due to the fact that the devil has convinced them that he is the angel of light. Thereby forming so many things and making them see the similitude (like a sample out of trillions) between it and our Christianity. So with his trick has pulled so many away and made them a slave to himself and principle. Turning men to objects of destruction towards one another and they keep doing the inconvenient things in the name of pleasure. There is GREATER LIGHT I tell you!
Until a man sees the evidence of a better result, he won't believe it. So also until he is convinced that the road in which he's going leads to destruction! That if judged by his present state, there is no way out than to be condemned, he won't give up the former things.
But when He turns from his ways to reconcile with God, ask for forgiveness and willingly surrender all the Lordship of Christ Jesus, then God of grace will look down with mercy and draw him nearer to be His child. Now this is the good part!
When a man sees a new light and willingly forsake the old one, then can he say through faith, he's moved from glory to glory. When convinced of being convicted through the help of the Holy Spirit and godly sorrow that works salvation follows, then justify by mercy and sanctify with the blood of Jesus and glorify to be seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus makes him joint-heirs with Him.
Salvation isn't the end of the story, but the beginning of a journey to Glory. The road might be rough, but I tell it leads to eternal life. The more you go, always contend for more. A curious mind can never be bored because he will long for adventures on his home. Ask for the Holy Spirit's strength for the journey by waiting upon the Lord. Walk in the spirit, always hope, keep the Faith, and above all show Love to everyone as evidence that JESUS IS LORD!
SHALOM!!!

You Are Mary

The first Mary was not the only lady named MARY which was recorded in the Bible is found in the new testament. She was "a virgin", which means she wasn't the only one who was a virgin in her time, but she found favor with God and was chosen to bear the Holy seed of God. Mary, the highly favored, blessed among women and the Lord was with her. That was how she was seen by the Lord. Her assignment was to carry the seed of God, deliver a son, and He shall save His people, rule them and His kingdom is forever. Her question wasn't what's in it for me? It was HOW? What's the plan? The answer was the Holy Spirit will come upon you, the power of the Highest hover over you. Therefore, the child you bring to birth will be called Holy, Son of God. It's all planned by God, yours is to align. You are Mary, but whose seed are you carrying? Definitely not Christ Jesus. But what result will the seed you are carrying bring? Are you aligned to be chosen? Are you recept...

Wrap Ups

Endings are better than beginnings. Sticking to it is better than standing out ( Ecclesiastes 7:8; MSG). The end justifies the means and starting could be great, but there is nothing as fulfilling and satisfying as the wrapping up of a thing with strength and grace. It is better not to start anything at all than to give up halfway. If we must start a thing, then we must follow through to the end. It builds discipline, consistency, and focus. When a person sets out for a journey, the thing expected on the way can only be assumed but not accurate. Which makes the destination and finishing well a necessity for greatness and forging further. This year has been amazing and some many things were unexpected, but regardless of the emotions experienced, God is good! When we thought it was over and there was no way we will make it, He showed and made a way. The most important thing when we are wrapping up anything is Thanksgiving. It could have only been God. If only we c...

God's or Abraham's?

The moment the word "children" appears, what comes to mind most the time is the result or outcome of a process. Especially when the psalmist was describing children in Psalms 127:3-5. My eyes were open to seeing results as children. Definitely, children have fathers. Let not go into defining children ( you can always read my post on CHILDREN), But my concern is that sometimes we (Christians) are referred to as Abraham's offspring and at the same time, we are called the children of God. How are we children of God and also Abraham's? It is possible that we are the offspring of both God and Abraham (His friend). We are considered as Abraham's offspring when we believe (Galatians 3:6-8), because the first to exercise Faith in God was Abraham and we are called his children because we are doing exactly what he did which was counted to him as righteousness(John 8:39) - FAITH . So we (believers) are the re-produced version(children) of the Father of Faith - Abraham...
